New hair begins to grow no sooner than 4–8 months after starting treatment. Hair loss stabilizes after 3 months, but better results become apparent after 12 months in men and after 8 months in women. The onset of effects varies among patients, and scalp hair density also differs. If the body responds to treatment, the hair that regrows initially resembles downy hair (vellus hair) and is barely visible.

As treatment continues, the hair becomes thicker and stronger until its color and texture are indistinguishable from the rest of the hair. After stopping treatment, the newly grown hair may fall out again within 3–4 months.

If hair loss is advanced or has been present for more than ten years, the effect of the medication may be less noticeable.

How to use REGAINE?

Regaine scalp solution should only be applied to completely dry scalp. Twice daily, every 12 hours, apply 1 ml of the solution to the affected area of the scalp.

Do not apply more than 1 ml of Regaine scalp solution or more frequently than twice daily (this will not accelerate hair growth).
Carefully apply Regaine scalp solution to the scalp using the applicator or your fingertips (do not massage!). Start applying from the center of the affected area. After finishing, wash your hands thoroughly to prevent Regaine scalp solution from accidentally coming into contact with other parts of the body.
